We thought we knew Amal Clooney's signature look [1], but this weekend she surprised us with an edgy ensemble that was more biker than barrister. The human rights lawyer stopped by the set of husband George Clooney's new film [2] Money Monster in the perfect outfit for a casual stroll, but her best accessory may have been the couple's adorable puppy, Einstein.
Amal dressed down for the weekend in distressed jeans and a simple lace top, but what really caught our eye was her black Balenciaga jacket. The simple piece was equal parts luxe and edgy and was a definite departure from her usual lady-like style [3]. When it came to accessories, she left her high heels and structured bags behind for black wedge sneakers, a white fringed shoulder bag, and oversize sunglasses.
