We don't know what your significant other has planned for National Girlfriend Day, but we're betting Avril Lavigne [1]'s husband just topped whatever it was. While scrolling through our Twitter feed [2] we were temporarily blinded by the new bling the pop star's sporting — a 17-carat diamond she received as an anniversary gift from her husband, Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. Avril Tweeted the stunner with the caption, "I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift. 17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby." Um, if this is just the first anniversary, Chad just set a very high bar for every year after.
