Walters named Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour one of her "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2006 — the same year when a movie version of The Devil Wears Prada debuted to rave reviews. While Walters never asked the editor directly whether Meryl Streep's character was anything like Wintour, she did ask if she saw any part of herself in Streep's performance.
"I'm a very decisive person," Wintour said. I think it's actually helpful to people that you're working with that you can make decisions. So if Meryl seemed somewhat strong, I respect that."
