From Solids to Prints, This Week's Style Stars Were Dressed to Perfection

Sep 29 2013 - 6:00am

This week's best-dressed celebrities embraced both prints and solids — and worked them beautifully. Just a few standouts included Jessica Alba [1], who matched a printed crop and pencil skirt with orange pumps; Naomi Campbell [2], who smartly paired a white skirt suit with black booties for an unexpected ending; and Malin Akerman, who worked both prints and solids to perfection. But they weren't the only famous faces to deliver major chic this week. Sandra Bullock [3], Olivia Palermo, Pippa Middleton, Karolina Kurkova, Julianne Hough, and Eva Longoria [4] all dressed to impressed, too. Head inside to see them all.

Naomi Campbell [5]'s white skirt suit was undeniably fresh at The Face screening in London. But what we love most is that the supermodel completed her look with booties versus sandals or pumps for an unexpected twist.

While being interviewed for Extra in LA, Jessica Alba [6] earned her time in the spotlight in a printed crop top and matching pencil skirt, both by Tanya Taylor. The extra pop of color via her orange pumps was also perfect. She finished with earrings by Rona Pfeiffer and a ring by EF Collection.

Pippa Middleton is no stranger to minidresses, but we loved seeing her in this two-tone halter gown at the Boodies Boxing Ball in London.

Olivia Palermo made us yearn for the frilly and girlie in her soft pink ensemble at the Nina Ricci Spring 2014 show [7] during Paris Fashion Week.

Sandra Bullock [8] was a breath of fresh air in a floral sheath dress and matching purple pumps at her hand and footprint ceremont at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Karolina Kurkova's black gown was anything but ordinary at the amfAR Milano gala. We couldn't stop staring at that pleated origami bodice.

The ensemble Malin Akerman wore for her SiriusXM Studios visit in NYC was all about the bottom half. Between the printed pencil skirt and black-and-white shoes, it definitely captured our attention.

Eva Longoria [9]'s Pamella Roland number took the concept of a little black dress to a sassy new level at the 13th Annual El Sueno De Esperanza gala in LA. Note the sheer side panels.

During a night out in LA, Julianne Hough paired a Houghton top with a Catherine Malandrino skirt and matching ankle-strap sandals. The result was nothing short of chic.
