A veritable constellation of stars, from models to actors, musicians and beyond, convened Wednesday night to celebrate the opening of Chanel's Little Black Jacket exhibit.
Carine Roitfeld, Olivier Theyskens, Linda Evangelista, and Joan Smalls were among the subjects of Karl Lagerfeld's new book about Chanel's classic black jacket who attended the party, held in a contemporary gallery space in New York's SoHo neighborhood. They were joined by Jessica Paré, Zac Posen, and Pharrell Williams, among others. The only person at the party who drew more attention than Lagerfeld's photos was 4-year-old Hudson Kroenig, son of model and Lagerfeld muse Brad Kroenig. Hudson wore a custom version of the little black jacket — but he didn't get to drink any of the champagne that flowed throughout the crowded rooms.
After the party, Lagerfeld hosted a small dinner at Balthazar; Evangelista, Rinko Kikuchi, Penn Badgley, Elisa Sednaoui, Zoe Kravitz, and Lily Collins were among those in attendance. Theophilus London performed at the dinner, and Poppy Delevingne assumed DJ duty when London finished his set.
The party may be over, but the Little Black Jacket exhibit will be open to the public from June 8 to 15 at 18 Wooster Street in New York City before continuing its tour. A few pictures from Wednesday's celebration here in the gallery.
