Keeping up with celebrity relationships can get pretty tough. One day two stars are together, laughing and in love. The next they're done, leaving fans feeling heartbroken and [insert crying emoji here]. But alas, the memory lives on — and Teen Vogue covers, too, at least if you're Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham [1]. When the actress shared a snap of herself on the magazine's October/November issue, we immediately recognized the hat of the mystery man she was hugging. It belonged to Brooklyn and was something they once shared before they (reportedly) called it quits [2].

Chloë talks a bit about her relationship in the issue and also rocks a variety of fabulous Fall looks. But that hat, man — it's all we can think about. It's the one thing that's still connecting them, giving us a bit of hope.
