Chrissy Teigen has come a long way from lounging in bed hours before the Met Gala! The model/hilarious social media phenomenon wore a Marchesa gown to the event with husband John Legend on her arm — and was not here for Twitter users who ridiculed her look:

The black-and-white Marchesa gown had it all: lace, a sheer train, statement sleeves, and fun floral accents that resembled pom-poms or cotton balls. Teigen topped off the whole look with a starry hair accessory, simple stud earrings, and a sparkly black clutch.
