The Reason Every Bride Will Fall in Love With Christian Siriano's First-Ever Wedding Collection

A little something for everyone: that's how we'd describe Christian Siriano's first-ever bridal collection. As the pieces made their way down the runway at Kleinfeld Bridal, aka that same store from Say Yes to the Dress [1], classic shapes such as ballgowns and mermaid dresses could be spotted among suits, feathers, and even a pink ombré gown.

"For our first [bridal collection], I felt like there should be something for every bride because we have every bride," Christian told us when we met up with him backstage. "We have 20-year-olds, we have 60-year-olds, we have petite, plus size, we have every woman. So I was trying to give her elements from everything. I thought that was really important."

With such variety, it's near impossible not to find the perfect look for your big day — so long as you aren't hoping for a naked dress. "I definitely wouldn't say that any of the dresses are overly beaded or overly sexy. I don't think that will ever be my thing," the designer admitted. But what might be his thing? "I wanted to do a lot more color," Christian revealed. "But as the collection was coming together, we thought there were already a lot of different silhouettes. We felt like color would be even a little too crazy, so we tried to keep it streamlined."
