Although in most cases, city-dwellers tend to be more stylish, I think it's unfair to say that's the case all of the time.

I've lived in both worlds. Definitely city.

Yes. I think one reason is that cities are more fast-paced and therefore faster to keep up with fashion, at least for those who care about it. There's also so much urban energy to play off of. I studied in London for a little while and felt more motivated to put on something stylish than I do here (I live in a medium-sized city). There are of course lots of people who are not stylish in cities, but I think that the people who ARE are much more stylish than the stylish people in smaller

In small towns, even the most "stylish" tend to be plastered in logos and look quite trashy compared to label queens of cities.

Southern ladies know the importance of dressing up and "putting their face on" just to go to the grocery store. You don't have to live in a city to be stylish and classy.

yes because by living in the city there are more inspirations which contributes in helping one to be creative and people are open to more trends of fashion.... xo

Oh man, I walk down the streets of Manhattan and while I see alot of trendy, well-dressed people, I see alot more hot messes!

The best dressed people I ever see around here are usually older people. There are people that aren't dressed terribly interestingly even in the city, but I'm more likely to find well dressed people there.

Having lived both in the city and the country - I would say the city folk tend to be more fashion forward and stylish. City folk tend to dress casual less often too - when I first moved to the city, I thought nothing of wearing jeans and a sweatshirt to hit the mall on the weekend, and I quickly learned that I stuck out like a sore thumb and I got really bad service. Wouldn't do that now unless it was an emergency.

I'm a villager, and I think I have a good style and a lot of my friends do too, but we don't really think about. But city folk seem to be more individual and a bit edgy-but I don't know if that makes them more stylish or not?

My experience with living in the big city is no. You see more stylish individuals but that's because there are so many more people anyway. The ratio of stylish people is probably pretty close to what it is in the suburbs

I think there are individuals with great style most places, but cities hold a far higher concentration of such individuals. People tend to be more fashion-forward in cities.

Yes. In the small town where I grew up everyone is wearing the same variation of American Eagle/Abercrombie/Aeropostale bootcut jeans, flip-flops, Coach bag and requisite North Face. I feel super out of place after returning for visits from London where I currently live.
