Come Fab Finding With Me: A Fab Flight

You're flying through the air with the greatest of ease ... or are you? It's that time of year — when many of us rack up some serious air miles. Do you do it with comfort or class? Show us your typical in-flight outfit.

I'll start you off with this J. Crew Uptown Tote ($230) because it's an electric cobalt color and allows you to carry on all your necessities. Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them Fab flight.

Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

Love the motorcycle jacket. I'm flying to Ukraine this month and when i get on the plane in New Orleans it will most likely be 70 degrees, but when I get to Ukraine, it will probably be below freezing. So I need something versatile but still comfy. The leather jacket will keep me warm without the bulk of a coat, the jersey dress will keep my feeling like I'm in my pj's on the plane. The pashmina - as someone else noted - works as a scarf, a blanket and a hood when I land. I love the stella mccartney boots because they are uber-fashionable but since they are wedges I can run through the airport in Amsterdam with ease. I love the mix of purples, pinks and blues.

When flying I go uber comfortable and with loose layers. A few notes: -I chose hoops because when resting my head, the stud backings hurt my neck/head. -I'd feel insecure traveling in a skirt, but pants and jeans aren't terribly comfortable. I picked cashmere pants which would be SO comfy, and still won't look like you're wearing your pajamas. -I had to go the less chic route with tennis shoes because I have this weird thing where I get sick when my feet are cold, so I always have to wear socks and sneakers on planes.

I like to be comfy and stylish when traveling, and have layers that are easy to take on and off. I picked earrings that are esay to remove for going through security (I shove them in my purse). I also added a little cosmetic case so that you can keep track of small items in your large bag, including your passport, if necessary.

I like to travel comfy but I refuse to fly in sweats. So I chose some cozy wide-leg jeans, a warm wrap sweater that can double as a blanket, NO jewelry or belt (any metal means a longer time going through security), shoes that are easy to take off (again, security) and a cute little sleep mask inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany's.

I chose pieces that were fun and flirty. I used a dress because pants can sometimes be uncomfortable. But with the dress, no matter how long you're sitting, it will stay the same. I added the sunglasses in case its an early flight and you need to cover the bags. The tights come in handy in case your rushing out the door and dont have time to shave your legs. With the flirty dress and vibrant colors will get you noticed by the mysterious guy sitting next to you, or that person that fate would have be on the same flight.

When i fly i like to look chic and pulled together, yet still be very comfortable. I try not to wear complicated shoes or jewelry and layers are important. I like to wear mostly black when i fly with a few pops of colour to keep things fresh and interesting. Ballet flats are a must as is a jersey dress that is so comfortable yet doesn't wrinkle and always looks pulled together. Leggings, a big cardigan that can double as a blanket, and a scarf are all paramount. I like to wear a double time watch so I can keep track of both time zones. I always keep my make up minimal and layer on moisturizer and lip balm on the flight. I spritz my face with rosewater to keep my skin dewy and hydrated. Sleep mask, flight pillow, earplugs or an ipod, and of course a great book or perhaps some knitting all add up to make me a happy flyer.

The only flights I've taken recently were transatlantic, and were between 4 and 15 hours long. I don't know about anyone else, but I want to be as comfortable as possible. That means stretchy jeans, lots of layers, and slip-on shoes. And a really good book. Or three.

Here we have a cute wool knit blend jumper, layered with a turtle neck for warmth, also some nice knit tights and some uber comfy slouch boots. And yes to pull in the amazing bag, some simple yet popping midnight blue accessories.

For me, comfort is key on a flight. Leggings, a comfy little dress made of jersey material (no wrinkles!), and a pretty blue cardigan is what I chose. You can move freely and not feel uncomfortable in this outfit. I also chose warm, cozy boots that slip off easily and quickly at security (VERY important) and added a cashmere throw. Airplane blankets are ick and I'm always freezing on planes; I always try to pack my own little throw blanket in my carry-on when I travel.

Simplicity is key with all the security procedures these days.

Most of my flights are long haul, so I chose a layered, classic look with some simple jewelry pieces to bring something to the plain colours. I've included two extras: sunglasses, for the celebrity factor so that no one knows who you are (especially if you've flown overnight and have dark circles), and hand cream- an essential! A pashmina wrap is the ultimate flying essential- wear it as a scarf to the airport, and then on the plane its a blanket! Its casual and comfortable, but upon arrival you can swap the shoes and have a completely different look. This is probably what I'll be wearing for my Christmas flights!

My absolute favorite to travel in are leggings; they're so comfortable and can still be cute. I paired them with a cute trapeze-dress that won't wrinkle easily, as well as some comfy boots and fun jewelery, both of which are easy to slip off at security!

hmm. here is another try. sorry!
magpie22 magpie22 9 years im not sure how to post a list, haha but here is mine. i went with comfortable, basic clothes but punched it up a notch with red accessories so that you will be comfy and not have to worry about bringing more clothes, since these are reusable, but you also will look put together and show that you put thought into your outfit.
