Come Fab Finding With Me: Twenty Year High School Reunion

Twenty years! A fellow Fab reader can't believe it's already been that long since she graduated high school.

Her reunion snuck up on her and now she doesn't know what to wear! It's scheduled for a Saturday night at a local restaurant, so it is not too formal, she says. She would rather be underdressed than over, as she doesn't want to look like she's trying too hard. However, she still wants to look effortlessly chic!

Help her out, and I'll start you off with this Franchi 'Yasmine Shine' Clutch, $218, because it is understatedly chic! Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them twenty years.

Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

At your 20th reunion, you want to look chic and understated...which is why I went for a simple top and trousers. But the accessories can update the outfit and make you stand out (in a good way!)

I had to make another one! I opted for a skirt this time instead of pants but still kept it pretty low key. The top is simple but is a gorgeous color of blue, and the 3.1 Phillip Lim skirt is to die for! The Michael Kors heels have that look that could dress up a t-shirt or could dress down a cocktail dress, and I think it compliments this outfit perfectly. Lastly, I added the big cocktail ring just so you're not too unnacessorized!

I think Louboutin's make everything look fashionable (look at the recent pictures of Nicole Richie in the airport). But, since most of us can't afford to pay $700-$900 for shoes, I included my second choice of shoes that are more reasonably priced.

I couldn't help but do another look...a little less casual, but still appropriate, I think:

I love this look because its simple and says "I am a successful buisness woman" (whether you are or not) but is surprisingly trendy. The Blouse is not exactly the typical classis button down and paired with the trouser wide legged pants, it looks effortlessly put together! The accessories are what really makes this outfit different from the norm. The gold necklace adds a little extra to the blouse, the watch matches the clutch perfectly, and shoes are that little something that says "Just because I'm 20 years older, that doesn't mean I can't have fun!"

Can't miss with a lil black dress, great heels & some fabulous accesories!! When in doubt stick with the classics!

I stayed on the more casual end of things - because I agree about not wanting to overdress. The fabulous deener denim skirt is so flirty and cute. Then the owl see by chloe tee tucked in adds another playful touch. Wear the deep v neck red sweater over and that cute necklace. The boots make it a perfect fall look and I added the trench in case it's chilly out and everyone's sipping drinks on the patio. The denim skirt hanging out underneath the trench will look great! I love how all the colors works so well for fall and with that clutch. I'm assuming that we'd be in our late 30's if attending a 20 year reunion - so I tried to make the look be youthful and fun just like high school but still age-appropriate. Plus all the pieces are perfect for so many other looks too. It's versatile.

I think to not be too dressed up, wear something with embellishment and keep everything else simple and clean. Here's my list:

Overall a relatively casual, classic B&W look for the FABer to be comfortable and not overdressed, but each piece has details that make them so chic! (ie. the piping on the pants)

I would wear large, trendy sweater or coat over something dressier underneath, this way if you feel underdressed you can toss it off and let the compliments roll, myself I don't even think Id go, if I did I'd probably leave immediately after seeing what the future made of my classmates

this isn't too bad, but a little black one would be very chic!
