depends on where Im going, what side of town I'm going to be on, how long I will be in the store, or of I feel like getting cute.

not dressed "to the nines", so to speak, but looking decent. you never know who you will run into! i've had many encounters and was glad i looked good.

Sometimes I'm really not in the mood. But other times I think it just makes you feel good to put in some effort even if you aren't going anywhere special!

I am a dress/skirt girl 90% of the time, and it's kind of hard to be sloppy or looked not dressed up in a skirt. and since I'm so into fashion, I'm pretty much always looking fab haha...

No, but I am not the sort of person to roll out of bed and go out in sweats. I at least put something decent and semi-cute on!

I agree with most of the other comments here--I don't ever go out looking like a slob (I hate seeing people in pajamas at stores), but I don't get all dressed up. Actually, I try to do errands on the way home from work and at least that way my outfit is nice.

depends, but not in high heels because i always walk a loot, but always some really nice shades and a brigth-bold lipstick or gloss makes me feel oH! soo glam.

Casual, but not sloppy. I tried to always have good quality casual clothing that looks neat and last and they're good staples for me. I just add accessories depending on my mood to just spruce things up and/or with jacket depending the weather.

Casual - yet fashionable - no sloppy sweats-

i would love to say i dress up all the time, but that's usually if i'm doing brunch w/ friends or relatives earlier that morning. if i'm going to the hairdresser, bank, etc....there's a high chance you'll find me in jeans and an AA hoodie. (which i guess explains why i ran into my hairdresser on the way to work and she went "wow! you look soooo good today!")

you can be casual and cute...i always dress to impress but sometimes that can include lululemons and havaianas...but other times it's as simple as a trench, my boots, and some sunglasses....no need to look like a slob

If I'm running earrings I don't even put on lipgloss..chapstick and go! What's funny is I get the most complements and attention from the opposite sex when I look well like ME :)

i think this really depends on where you live. I grew up in a rural town where it seemed like putting on makeup to run an errand was kind of overdoing it (but I did it anyway!) Now that I live in NY I wouldn't think of leaving the house without looking my best. But NY is kind of competitive that way. That's why I feel bad for those girls on What Not to Wear when they criticize their "running errands" outfits. It's just not practical to put on a dress and heels in every town in America when you are rushing out the door!

I won't go out in sweatpants and crocs, but I'm sure not getting "dressed up." I'll put on a bit of makeup, jeans, and comfy shoes.

I love putting on beautiful clothes to do the mundane tasks! A dress and high heels makes even running errands a little bit more fun and glamorous!!

Casual cool for the usual errands. But make no mistake I dress so that I always look good or at least I think so - fashion 24/7 baby!

I always try to look nice (you won't see me grocery shopping in pajama pants or sweats) but I certainly don't "dress up" for errands.

Ha! Why would anyone? Unless you're running errands at a Chanel boutique I see no reason to dress up. I'm always a cute and casual dresser. Casual meaning jeans, not sweatpants.

i think that it depends on what i'm doing, but i like to keep it casual, so most of the time my casual outfit consists of a denim mini skirt and casual shoes and top. not too dressed up but not shlubby.

“I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.”- Coco Chanel lol ok with that said it depends on the mood i am in, sometimes I wear casual stuff but sometimes i just wake up in a mood to get a little more dressed up ..even if the only thing on the agenda is running errands :)
