i don't mind sharing my clothes with my friends, because then they share with me! its only been a problem once, when a larger-chested friend of mine stretched out the top of my beautiful purple cynthia rowley cocktail dress, but she repaid me by giving me a blouse she knew i loved. however, i will not share my handbags and i have smaller feet than all of my friends, so those are only for me.

Yeah I share clothing... and I have this hard habit of wearing them over and over again b4 finally washing them and giving them back... but all is fair b/c when I was helping her move I found a shirt in her closet.... and It was my shirt I let her borrow like 6 years ago!!

only with my BFF because she is my size in tops and some pants. we have to be getting ready in the same place - my room or her apt for the sharing to occur.

I only lend flipflops to friends, to my sisters they have full reign of my closet (even the shoe closet!). Not that I don't trust my friends, but I know they can't take care of my clothes...properly. Let alone my shoes! My shoes are my life!

That reminds me of the one time I agreed to lend my friend a miniskirt for a play. She happened to see one of my $150+ designer skirts, said "ooh, that's CUTE" (she didn't know it was designer), and put it on before I could stop her. She ended up stretching it out pretty badly because she was a size bigger than me. Luckily the dryer shrunk the skirt, but I admit I was shallow enough to feel annoyed every time I saw her after that. Since then... no lending out clothes!

Never Ever, i dont trust them to wash them correctly, and plus its a bit juvenile to share clothes.

I don't lend out clothes because sometimes you will not see yout items back. Besides I don't have any girl friends that or my size or my age, all of the women I go out with are older then me.

I have few female friends, and fewer (none?) that wear my size. However, when my friend's mom sent her a skirt from Europe while we were in college, it was passed around the dorm until I got it -- I was the only one who could fit into it! :D

I have before and I never get my stuff back!! I exchange only with my mom because she takes as good, or better, care of her clothes as I do and is careful not to get any stains on anything. I do give away clothes A LOT to my friends... I think I should really just give them to the salvation army because they would appreciate them more. My friends are into wal-mart and stuff... they don't appreciate name brands.

No I'm too attached. Anyway my friends and I are all different sizes.

No. I used to share friends, but then they started "losing" (more like stealing) the items. After that, there was no way I was sharing.

That totally depends on the friend because I will definitely NOT lend something super nice to my super messy friend with the most adorable but uses her food/bottle as a toy baby.

I used to all the time when I lived with my girlfriend. But not anymore.

Only with my sister that I live with. We're the same size and trust each other. That is about the only person I would let borrow my clothes that I spend good money on. Some of my less expensive clothes I would lend out if there was a reason for it.

I would love to, but I never seem to have friends who wear my size. When I do, however, I'm a big fan of sharing, and I definitely swap accessories.

I was friends with a girl for a very long time, who was a terribly spoiled only child. She had drawers full of "sparkly shirts" she'd only ever worn once. I can remember we'd go out at night, and she was extremely dressed up, I asked to borrow a shirt. Then she got all weird and told me a story about how when she was 14 some other friend of hers stole one of her shirts. We're 25 now! It was awfully selfish of her, and I always think of that night. I always share with my 2 sisters, big closet indeed!

I have let a cousin and some of my friends borrow dresses for a dance so they don't have to buy new ones. Especailly if they dont really care about the event.
