lol, considering my size (I'm 178 cm high), and live in Japan, you do the math!

I have a reeeeally tough time finding pants that are long enough. I'm thin (120lbs) and tall (5'9, 35/36' inseam.) Seems like the only companies who make jeans that fit me are People's Liberation and Rock & Republic (aka EXPENSIVE!) Seriously, I hate shopping for pants!!!

Yes and no? Haha. Basically, if I had lots of money to spend, I wouldn't. But I don't, so I do have a problem. I seriously need a good tailor.

every piece has some issue that i then decide on whether or not to buy it: jeans-crotch top-buttons open up or print/cable knit stretching b/c of boobs shoes-width, bottom of sole shaping and heel thickness, can it support my curves? tailoring is something for my mom but i hardly do it because i am getting more critical.

Am not very tall; jeans are always too long for me.

Gah! I hate it when I find the perfect pants but they won't fit on me properly because I have smaller hips and larger thighs.

I am tall, have a long torso, long arms, long legs... It's hard to find jeans because of my butt(it's not big, but it's a good size). You're supposed to fit the widest part of you first, and then whatever else you can look at with a tailor. I don't do that... So most of my jeans either need a belt(I hate wearing belts) or I keep pulling them up throughout the day. Thank God for the new longer shirt trend. It makes things normal lengths on me instead of being able to see half my body in a "normal" length shirt. Damn clothes..

Tiny waist + hips &butt = gapping!!!! I have a terrible time finding pants, so I gave up. And all sizes are way off/ lyin! Abercrombie claims I am a size 4!!! LOL how cute! America is letting obesity get out of control.

I need to invest in tailoring. I'm short as well (5'3) with breasts that usually fall between a C and a D. Shirts are always a pain...you don't want to look slutty, but not matronly either. And button-up shirts always seem to gape. Pants are always a problem too...I have a normal waist, no butt hardly (it's flat except at the bottom where I start to get a bit of a curve), and wider hips. Honestly the best jeans I have are from Uniqlo in Tokyo...and I still had to get them tailored for length! Their Style-Up jeans are awesome though, and I just got a pair of their wide legged Boyfriend Jeans. They actually make me look like I have a butt! Uniqlo is awesome too because they offer free tailoring for whatever you buy. Banana Republic's Petites are great too...I never thought I would wear chinos. Then I got a pair in Hawaii and love them...they're so soft and somewhat versatile in a bootcut.

I'm 5'2 and hourglass, so yeah, but a good tailor changed my life.

Yeah, finding pants that fit me are a problem too. They are always too long. So I have to spend extra $$ at to get them fixed. I have no problem with tops, though.

I'm very high waisted, so dresses are awful on me...they want to cut in where my hips are, and are baggy in the waist. I needed to find a dress for my rehearsal dinner last year, and I literally tried on over a hundred dresses (over the course of about 2 or 3 days). I got "zipper thumb"...I developed a callous from dealing with all the side zippers! By the end my arms were too sore to lift over my head, so my friends were having to pull the dresses off of me. Pretty mortifiying. It was worth it in the end though, as I found a fabulous dress that looked good inspite of my waist issues.

Definitely. Mostly because I live in Vancouver, where there are a LOT of 2s and 4s and 0s and not so many 8s and 10s. I'm 5'6'', and 155, but at least it's well-arranged fat on me. My main problem is my expensive tastes!

it's very difficult to find clothes that fit unless they are made for me.

i do sometimes. but i blame it on poorly made clothing! (or the obsession with anorexic 6 foot tall models)

I usually don't have too much of a problem finding clothes that fit, however I small so when it comes to jeans it's sometimes difficult to find size 24/25 on the rack. I don't even want to get started on my chest. Most tops in xs aren't made for c-cups. It gets annoying.

I'm 5'10'' and weight-wise around 175. Thankfully the weight is distributed so I don't look too heavy, but I still have trouble finding clothes that fit well AND look cute. The issue that I have is that so many stores have a different definition of what a certain size IS. Some have tiny little jeans that they pass off as size 14, and some 14 jeans are hee-uge. If it were more consistant, no matter where I shopped, I'd have a muh easier time. I do love that the plus-size shops out there are coming out of hiding and celebrating the bigger sizes - I'm just barely teetering on the plus-size line, but I still appreciate it so much when a store goes out of it's way to provide fresh, funky clothes that happen to be bigger than mainstream sizes. For someone not even 20, like me, this is so important to self-image when shopping. I'm enjoying reading the comments and results - good poll, Fab! :)

I hate it because I have big boobs and a tiny waist so everything is either too tight on my boobs or too baggy at my waist. also I'm short so finding something in proportion is hard.

I struggle with pants most often than other items. I have had problems with coats being too boxy or long or large, but that's a problem a belt can fix!

Pants are always too long, my boobs are too big, and so is my waist, in comparison to my hip/thighs.
