With its clean lines, updated shapes, and pop hues, Matthew Edelstein's Friends & Associates may be just the thing to cure any what-to-wear wardrobe blues.
Inspired by classic uniforms, the collection is filled with pleated skirts, cropped sailor tops, and tie-waist trousers, plus — for a bit of fun — polka-dotted frocks, ruffled-peplum pencil skirts, high-waisted cargo shorts, and contrast-pocket button downs. "It's for different people who want to interpret their own style," explained Edelstein. "I always want the collection to have some fashion influence, but it's about style, not fashion." Friends & Associates launches for Resort 2013 and is priced from $150 to $350. A peek at the entire debut lookbook, right here.
