Jean Paul Gaultier's July couture show will include something many of the other Paris shows won't have: male models.
Gaultier is skipping the Fall 2012 men's shows scheduled for the end of June and will instead present his menswear collection alongside his women's Fall 2012 couture line on July 4. The mixed show will take the form of an all-day presentation in the designer's showroom on Rue Saint-Martin in Paris. A spokeswoman for the house said a final format for the presentation had not been decided.
This isn't the first time Gaultier has put menswear and women's couture together. There were a few men's looks included with his Fall 2011 couture collection, and he put men on the runway when he launched his couture line in 1997.
