We know that our 9-to-5 is not the same as Gigi Hadid's. In actuality, the busy supermodel [1] has probably never worked a "9-to-5" in her life. But when we saw her heading home from a photo shoot in a casual-comfy outfit [2], we couldn't help but think, "OK, that's what Gigi wore to work today," without wanting to pull it off. Gigi's worn leggings [3] on so many different occasions — the gym and shopping, which are standard, but also for a night out. She clearly thinks they look professional with booties, too. We don't disagree.
With the addition of Western-inspired shoes, mini retro Gigi x Vogue Eyewear sunglasses [4], and an oversize ribbed cardigan from Mandkhai [5] ($1,130), Gigi looked classy and cool. We might settle for an oversize blazer as our overcoat, but we're planning on securing leggings with zippered sides and a bit of structure for the office. We'll report back and let you know if we get any double-takes, but we feel pretty confident we can get things done the Gigi way.
