Though our invites got lost in the mail, we imagine they mentioned something about wearing black lace. We're not surprised that Kim opted for a racy dress [2] with a very revealing lace-up detail down the front or that Gigi took her look to sporty new heights with a pair of thigh-high boots.

Bella Hadid interpreted the lace-only dress code in a laid-back fashion. While her high-waisted trousers and embellished leather Chrome Hearts jacket were casual-cool, her top — a triangle lace-bra layered beneath a sheer cap-sleeve shirt — was supersexy.

Gigi worked a ribbed turtleneck dress, complete with a leather panel, with a pair of lace-up Rodarte boots [6] that made our jaws drop. Instead of opting for a delicate lacy design, Gigi stuck to her signature style [7] and went the sporty route.

The model showed a slip of leg in her Altuzarra lace-up separates. She completed her outfit with red Brian Atwood heels — because obviously somebody had to grace the group with a pop of color.

Carine Roitfeld headed to dinner in a dark gothic-inspired maxi dress that was complete with ruffle detail. She accessorized with a simple, thin lace neck scarf.
