I Found the Perfect $10 Statement Earrings — You'll Never Guess Where They're From

Glitterati: Giles & Brother

Glitterati: Giles & Brother

Jewelry creator extraordinaire Philip Crangi has dazzled us with his raw approach to design for a while now. What happens when you throw another Crangi into the mix? Giles & Brother.

Philip, along with his sister Courtney, draws inspiration from a range of places, from classic estate jewelry to African textiles. But what makes this diffusion line more wallet-friendly is replacing semiprecious stones with rhinestones and vintage beads. As long as it sparkles, I'll take it. Prices range from $75 to $300 and the line can be found at Barneys Co-op, Shopbop, and Oak NYC.

I actually kind of like those earrings. Total Non Sequitur, but I saw the name and thought Carangi, as in Gia Carangi. Whoopsiedoodle.

i like some of the pieces but some just don't look like the best quality (although you get what you're paying for i suppose). i feel like lately i've been getting more into estate type pieces - although they've never been anything of interest in the past.

it's all very severe art deco, like deco on steroids. I love some of the pieces, like the multistrand necklace and both of the cage-like/spiderweb-like earrings, but the rest of it is a little too severe for me...

Cute stuff! Some a wee bit overpriced...

I love this brand. They have the cutest, quirkiest little pendant necklaces. I have two and wear them all the time.
