i was just thinking about it this morning....i haven't seen a store in about a month. I've been shopping online a lot but it's back to the stores in the next two weeks because holiday shipping is a nightmare!

Online shopping for clothes is a bit hit and miss for me - once you find a site that works for you though it's much easier. If I stuff up with a purchase (usually size), I give it to my sister. I've come to the conclusion that my best purchases online have been things like pajamas, jewellery and other accessories. I leave things like jeans and pants for real life shopping. Most tops I've bought online I've been happy with. Because I live in a rural area, where the choice of shops is limited I've been forced to run the online shopping gauntlet, with some success. If in doubt, I leave it and look for something similar in the shops. As for waiting in line at a checkout, that doesn't bother me, especially if I'm really in love with what I'm about to purchase.

It isn't so much the crowds that are getting to me, it is the grumpy representatives that are a pain! I have never run into so many unhappy people. If the holidays are not your thing, you shouldn't be working in the customer service industry!

i never shop online.. trying things on with girlfriends or my mom or my boyfriend is half the fun of getting new clothes!

i only shop online when i cant get to it at the moment or else i prefer to go to the mall myself and do the shopping!!!!

I have never been one for crowds anyway, now what I do is scout out what I want online and then go into the store knowing exactly what I want to buy. I love to try things on. I am never just one size.

I just can't do online shopping. I need to feel the material, hold it up to me, TOUCH IT!

I still love malls. Online shopping is ok for some things, but if I'm getting clothes or shoes, I like to try stuff on to see how it looks and fits before I get it. But, there is some cute stuff online that I can't find in stores.

i think online shopping has made me not necessarily lazy, but more thrifty and a smarter shopper. i can compare prices and give myself a waiting period to make sure that it's an item i really want (so less impulse purchases). plus, i find that you can find better deals online with coupon codes and such. what i'll usually do is try it on at the store, and go online to see if i can get a better deal.

I love them both. I find better deals online, but I can't resist popping into a store and being able to get some instant gratification. Plus somethings have to be tried on. For me, its boots, dresses and jeans mostly. I buy lots of heels online though.

I got all my x-mas shopping done early and all online. It's been totally strtess free. And I'm finding great deals by comparing prices. I'll still head to the mall cause I love it so much just not all the other shoppers.

online shopping is what i do in class and what i do to find designer clothes (saks fifth avenue is overpriced - okay, just i cant get it cheaper online usually - and i hate going down town) but i love going shopping to the mall and little boutiques around town (i live across the street from urban outiftters)

I don't shop online very often. I prefer to see things in person.

I only shop on online on the weekends when stores are most crowded and at night when they are closed. I shop at stores during the day on weekdays.

I love them both equally! Most clothes I have to try on in the store but I will buy shoes, accessories and media online. Like Princess Tracy said, I also research and comparison shop online though when it comes to clothes, most online specials are usually cheaper in the store. Like Target or Kohls, for example.

I still like shopping out on occasion but during the Christmas season I can't really stand the rude people and long lines...

I can't stand online shopping! I've done it maybe twice and both times the things didn't fit or looked weird. No thanks!

this is probably completely unrelated but i wanted to say that this picture that miss FABSUGAR posted for this poll was shot in HONG KONG. aka my homeeee. and i miss it (i'm in school in canada)! okay im strange. hahaha. i love online shopping and actually shopping pretty equal. my problem with online shopping is that i get scared of the sizes because i vary between sizes even with the same brand. it all depends on the item of clothing! just my two cents :)

I would say it's made me more informed and "thrifty" I guess. I'll check prices and reviews online. I save myself money because I can read how crappy the product is before spending a ton of money on it sometimes. If I was just in the store I'd grab a digital camera that claimed to be fabulous, pay $200 for it and then be dissapointed and out of the money when I got home. Also a great place to see price comparisons by store and see if it's cheaper if you physically go to the store or purchase online. I use the internet alot whether it be for research or actual purchases...it's generally cheaper online.

i window shop online. i find that i go on sites to shop, but rarely make the purchase because i'm anal about the fit or the color. i wanted a pair of jeans from Guess, and online they were black. i happen to go to the Guess store, and they were more like off black/navy. if i got them online, they would not have matched this sweater that i was buying the jeans for.
