How Often Do You Do Laundry?

I am OCD about laundry, so I do it all myself, and often. Ironing sucks! I tried to make it more 'fun' for myself by buying fancy linen water and starching spray, but in the end I gave up, and it all goes to the dry cleaners to get laundered and pressed.

And if the wrinkles do not come out in the dryer we dont wear it bc I dont have an ironing board lol -------------------- Dum de Dum de Dum de Dum

Ok Im going to admit I suck at laundry and I Dont have enough Dresser space or hangers or even room in my closet to hang clothes so I have a system. All the dirty clothes go in my bathroom all the clean clothes go in a basket by my bed, all the clothes that we arent wearing bc of various reasons are stuffed into a pile inside the closet lol and Mikeys clothes all get folded or hung properly and my husbands are where ever he leaves them. Awful Awful AWFUL I know! -------------------- Dum de Dum de Dum de Dum

Laundry never ends with two young kids and multiple changes a day. Jen76- I get the ironing thing. I hate thinking about the piles of stuff to iron but once I start it relaxes me. I like to iron for an hour while watching Desperate Houswives and I am done for the week.

Oh yea, and we use cloth diapers! But that was self-inflicted punishment. :-)

Me too, snixy! We have one of those tiny apartment washers that's half the size of a normal one AND an infant. So yea, every day.

All the time it seems. When one load is washing another load is piling up never ends....

LOL jen, you lucky gal! I wish I could get away with 'innocently' mismatching socks. He doesn't care but I the perfectionist do, UGH!

I don't have to do socks. :D The hubs is SO picky and he says I always pair the wrong ones. :innocent: Oops.

When I run out of underwear

Once a week. I don't mind laundry, I HATE when my husband takes off his socks and leaves them inside out. I literally spend 30 minutes trying to put them right-side in and together. Def. one of my least favorite chores.

Wow, you all seem to do laundry alot. No one that I know does laundry very often, mostly because we all live in apartments in city centers and have to travel down flights and flights of stairs just to wait for a machine...Washers might be my only incentive to move to the suburbs!

It's funny because I HATE ironing and put it off as much as possible. But, then when I'm doing it, I actually like it. :? Weird. I HATE ironing uniforms, though. So many flipping pockets and trying to get all the creases just perfect.

Ironing is THE worst chore. I tried to avoid it as much as possible.

I remember growing up with 4 kids in the house the washing machines seemed to be on all the time.

Several times a week - the kids and the hubs (who between workout clothes, uniforms and regular clothes, wears at least three outfits a day) dictate the laundry schedule. :D

Its the ironing that drives me crazy...I have not patience for it.

I have a TON of underwear and socks, a lot of tops, and I wear all my jeans a few times between washings, so I wait as long as possible. I know that doing laundry isn't difficult, but for some reason, I really hate doing it.

2 or 3 times a week usually on weekends when I have run out of clothes or underwear.
