I got highlights once. I also use that color boosting glaze thing.

I'm naturally dark blonde, so I get half head/alternating blond/light brown about 3 times /year just for some oomph.

mine's all naturaL! from being outside so much, the sun bleached highlights into my hair!

red and blonde chunky highlites for spring and summer then aubern and chocolate for winter. multi colour highlites are perfect for fun and professional looks and need less touch up than full colour.

I'm addicted to dying my hair! I love to try different looks - one month I'm blonde, then red then then magenta. My hairdresser has been my friend for 20 years so she's willing to try anything with me. She makes sure my hair is always in good shape and not over-processed and fried and lets me know when it's time to take a break. :)

I dye it every 6 weeks. I have gray too and it gets worse by the year but I try to just do the roots not to damage my whole hair but sometimes if I want to go darker or something I do the whole thing.

I've been going gray since I was 16...gotta love the whole genetic thing. I have been dyeing permanently going on 7 years or so. My mom still dyes hers so I refuse to let mine go as long as she still colors, if I could be promised that my white hair would be as pretty as my Dad's, Grandmother's and Greatgrandfather's I'd let it go. As it is...I'm reddish brown with caramel highlights. :-)

I have black hair and I haven't dye ever in my life, but I use an awesome shampoo from Spain made with nature herbs that keeps the color healthy, and it keeps it so black that people often thinks that is not natural!

i have orangey/red hair (thus the user name) that has natural highlights...i told my bffs that i wanted to dye it and they told me theyd never speak to me again if i did...they were totally serious too...i got lucky with my hair...i just hope it doesnt go prematurely gray like my mom's or my granddad's...they have gorgeous gray hair though, so it wouldnt be a huge loss

I get highlights. I'm not interested in having stripes though, so I get two colors put in that are close to my natural tone. I'm still blonde, but the color has dulled as I've gotten older so my stylist puts in gold and light blonde to mix it up a bit. Looks good and natural, but has depth and movement. BaltimoreGal

I've been dying my hair black for years now so I go in every 8 weeks (or whenever the roots need a touchup) to get the roots done. I barely remember what my natural color is.

i went through a period of dying my hair every few months when i was in college but i stopped doing it about 2 years ago because my hair was soooo fried. i kind of miss it but my hair is so muchc healthier now and i don't have to worry about roots or anything! i've definately learned to appreciate my black, wavy/curly hair but who knows? i might go back to highlights now that i'm thinking about it again...

I get it done every few months to maintain and cover the roots. I don't go a whole lot different than use my natural color (brown) as the base with some honey highlights and some cappucino low lights.

the story of my limp hair - i colored it jet black then i hightlighted it light brown a yr back but the color sort of faded and became too light.... so i DIY and used a dark natural brown.... that's the last time i colored my hair... cos i think it looks pretty neat in its au naturel brownish shade it's the color of my own hair. but i am thinking of doing it jet black again. :p

I dye the front bangs a fruity faded doesn't show that much but I think it ads color..It still is in my hair a little. Even though I stopped dying my hair a couple months ago

I bleach my hair from nearly black to dark blonde so the roots need to be done quite frequently. Actually I rarely use proper dye. My hairdresser bleaches the roots to the exact color I want, and a couple of times a year adds subtle highlights for texture.

Hair colour is a definite "changes often"-item on me.

I used to dye my hair once every 3 months or so, but then I just kinda let it go... I should dye it again. **~~Everyone who's anyone has been on sesame street.~~**

i was a hair-dye-virgin until this past summer, i'm a mixed girl (half black-half white) and i have naturally really light brown hair and decided to dye my hair black so i could accent the like exotic looking features on my face from my mom and now i looooove having my hair dark and once i see my hair is looking more brown than black, i hit up the dye again!
