I bought T3 hairdryer and straightener and I brought it with me to Europe and because I was such an impatient idiot who didnt want to read electricity converter directions, my straightener blew up.. so there goes my ceramic iron and 200 bucks ..I'll never forgive myself for that lol

Wow, I thought taking 30-60 minutes to get ready was a really long time, but seeing that so many other people do too, I feel much better! I envy the 15 minutes or less people...I would *love* to just roll out of bed!

Hmmm, I know this is an old blog but I wasn't on for awhile..and missed all the good stuff... for me....get up...(actually getting up),....okay for real this time.....(around 30 minutes fighting with my other personality in my head) JK, im not a nut..but I will lay in bed and think about gettin up for 30 minutes....FINALLY..brush my teeth....(anywhere from 3-5 minutes)....yeah, must be an ocd.....But I have amazing teeth~lol*....wait 20 minutes after brushing my teeth and make me some coffee with french vanilla creamer...I wait 20 minutes cause I feel like I just brushed the enamel off of my teeth and am afraid the coffee will find somewhere to about 30 minutes just sitting there drinking coffee with my super clean mouth (mmm always taste like french vanilla chocolate mint cause of my toothpaste......ha.........then, go brush my teeth again to get the coffee off, (yes i really do this routine, EVERYday)so 3 more minutes on the teeth and tongue and gums and as far as I can reach in my mouth....then, shower time, aaaaaaaaaah, now that's a good 20-25 minutes right there, gotta shave everyday, wash and condition my hair, stand there and sing to the yeah usually 25 minutes..sometimes more, (you should see my water bill) then.....dry off, towel on the head, 5 minutes...lotion up my body...bout 2 minutes...wash my face again..5 minutes.dont know why i do that, i know it's weird.... put a lotion type sunscreen on my face...1 minute....put on makeup (sometimes) about 3 minutes...DRYING MY HAIR SUX THE MOST....that takes like 10 minutes (me rolling my eyes because of the time it takes to dry my hair...about 7 seconds..) talking to myself in the mirror, answering back, singing...about 10 minutes.....if I go curly with my about 5 minutes, if i straighten it..about 10 minutes....change my clothes about 4 or 5 times....about 10 minutes............finding my favorite shoes and accessories..about 3 minutes....OKAY, I'M READY! So all together that adds up to about 2 hours, 2 minutes and 7 seconds.....LOL, I have waaaaaaaaaay too much time to waste, advantages of not having to work, unless someone is interested in getting a massage......then that's only an hour or so*

Honeychild, I am the same way! And it's not just a NYC thing, although they do have more Starbucks there than everywhere else!

Does going to Starbucks constitute as part of your routine? bc then I need to change my answer from 45 mins to an hour.I need to estimate a good 15 mins for my daily Starbucks run in the am. This might just be a NYC thing?

Lacoste - have you tried the T3 Tourmaline? I just use a regular ceramic iron, because all I straighten is my bangs. But I've heard really good things about the T3's.

Depends on whether I straighten my hair or curl it. Straightening actually is easier.... Getting up, breakfast, feed dogs, let dogs play outside, round dogs up from running off someplace outside, spray dogs with hose after they inevitably find mud someplace somewhere, shower, getting dressed, getting computer packed up to go to work or school and everything else usually takes about an hour....take out the dogs and I can do 20 minutes if I have to.... sometimes I shower the night before if I have no customer appointments and can be scrubby at work....then 15 minutes is doable!!!

Haha I shower at night, set the coffee machene, and pick an outfit all before I go to sleep, so I just roll out of bed, brush hair, do my make-up..throw on clothes, grab coffee and I'm gone.

Ok, I envy all of you because it takes me an HOUR and a HALF to get ready - without stalling. I have to blow dry and straighten my hair because my hair is so thick that if I take a shower at night and get ready my hair will be a mess in the morning, and I have to straighten it again regardless. It's so annoying!! That alone takes 45 minutes...can anyone recommend a good straightener? ;)

seriously it take from the moment i get out of my bed to when im out the front door this differs greatly from day to day, most days its about 90 mins. over an hour of this spent hitting the snooze button, haha! I wonder if my collegues ever wonder why one day i look great nice hair, nice make up and other days i look shocking.

Let's say if I have to leave my house by 8:30. I will get up at 6:30 just so I can drink coffee and check out Popsugar for about 45 minutes or an hour. Actual getting dressed time about an hour. My hair takes for ever -- drying it on low so I don't fry it as bad, straightening it just so I can put these little green rollers in it that make it look not so flat -- I blow dry the curls out some after I roll it -- it is a pain but I am in the stages of letting it grow so it is at a really bad stage.

in the summer i'm super quick. i shower and wash my hair, put it up in a high pony and by the time i'm dressed it's usually dry and i just let it fall natually. in the winter i'm slow. the cold makes me want to just stay in bed, but in summer i can't wait to start the day.

anywhere from 30-60 mins..if i have time then I take that time if not 30 mins is enough..that includes cooking breakfast but not blowdrying my hair since I always do it at night time couple hours before I go to bed.. it saves me time and plus it looks better the next day :)
BLoNDIeXO BLoNDIeXO 11 years

if you count the 20-25 min shower (i need NEED my conditioner fix everytime i wash my hair and i like to let it set in to i have silky soft hair) and the half hour is take to blow dry my hair (ONLY because i have the thickest and dryest hair! it just sucks up the water and wont let go and i cant air dry it because it turned into a pile of poof! oh..btw? how can i bring moisture back and get rid of my split ends?? besides cutting it) and then the whole i have to straighten my hair to make it not as full looking even thought straighting it makes it still full but not as full which takes about 20-25 mins and thats with each layer! and the 10-15 mins it takes me to put my face on and the 5 mins to get dressed and thats if i have no idea what to wear..i say it takes me about..around an hour and a half or more to get ready!
