J.Crew's Spring '17 Presentation Was Full of Styling Hacks and Body Diversity

If there's one presentation we look forward to every NYFW, that presentation is J.Crew. Not only is it the place to spot vibrant, must-have pieces and cool-girl styling hacks, it's also an opportunity to plan out next year's wardrobe, considering the store is already one of our favorite places to shop. This time around, envisioning ourselves in the clothes became even easier. Spring '17's collection was worn by friends of the brand rather than traditional models, and all shapes, sizes, and ages were represented in the room. It was definitely a big move toward more diversity in the fashion industry and something we hope soon becomes the standard. After all, every body type wears these clothes. Why not show them on every body type from the get-go?
