Jayma Mays in Badgley Mischka at 2010 Golden Globes Awards

2010 Golden Globe Awards: Jayma Mays

Jayma Mays from Glee struck a pose in a strapless black and white architectural confection by Badgley Mischka. Notice how the structured bodice lends a streamlined feel, while the abstract swirls on the bottom inject fun. For adornments, the actress chose Fred Leighton jewels and a matching black satin clutch. Are you feeling it?

Too schizophrenic for me, to borrow nikkeeb's term. I think the bodice could've looked good with a different bottom, and vice versa.

This is very cute.

I wish the thin-lined spiderweb feel went all the way up the dress instead of having those bold white lines. It cheapens the look.

I wish the dress was form-fitting all the way down, it kind of pulls her down.

It's kind of quirky. Jayma is just so cute, she pulls it off anyway.

This reminds me of a Halloween costume for some reason...

Reminds me of the dress Carrie Underwood wore last week. I like it.

OH MY GOODNESS I didn't even realize - I love this girl; not because of Glee which I don't watch (sorry) but because of like four scenes in Heroes! She is so cute and genuine and pretty and talented! As for the dress...eh; not sure. I like that she took a risk (especially for her since it's her first red carpet); and I like the idea of the bottom; but I just feel like the top and bottom are so disconnected. I think if the whole dress were one print (either the top print or the bottom - I would prefer the bottom) it would have worked better...
