The Duchess of Cambridge added a little much-needed brightness to a dull London day on Tuesday, as she paid a visit to Lavender Primary School as part of her work with the charity Place2Be [1]. Kate was there to find out more about initiatives during Children's Mental Health Week, and she looked very excited to greet the schoolkids as she arrived. Dressed in a green shift dress [2] by Eponine London (a label she's worn a number of times before [3]), Kate accessorized with items from some of her go-to designers: Kiki McDonough earrings, a Mulberry clutch bag, and a very cool pair of ankle boots from L.K. Bennett.
Lace-up ankle boots are a new look for Kate, but it's one she's worn a couple of times this year already. Last month, she sported a pair of low-heeled See by Chloé utility boots for an outdoor engagement [4], but this time around, she chose a sleeker suede style with a high heel and gold rivets, which reminded us of a similar pair her sister-in-law Meghan wore back in October [5].
