We've Got Kate Middleton's Postbaby Wardrobe Ready!

In our world, any big life change requires a new set of clothes — ushering in the royal heir is no different! When Kate Middleton returns from the hospital and starts wading into her normal life, she'll need an array of new dresses, coats, and separates for events and appearances. After studying her stellar style for years, we feel particularly poised to hypothesize on what we might see her in.

We scouted out current offerings from Kate's go-to designers and have a whole trousseau at the ready should the duchess have been too busy waiting around for the new little prince to think about shopping.

When you're mother to the future ruler of England, black-tie events are the norm, rather than the exception. For her first outing, we're hoping Kate picks a sparkly Jenny Packham gown ($3,645) similar to the gorgeous pink one she wore in 2011.
For appointments and engagements requiring something more demure, we love this powder-pink Hobbs dress ($210).

The vintage-inspired print of this Topshop frock ($220) is a bold choice, and the roomy fit will be forgiving for the first few weeks Kate is out and about.
Kate's love for accessible high-street shops isn't likely to change postbaby. We can easily see her in this plaid Topshop trench ($170) on windy days.
A new baby surely cares for a new pair of shoes! This taupe suede Aquatalia pump ($398) is classic but feels subtly unique.
Comfortable Aquatalia flats ($375) will be a smart choice for Kate, too, as she runs errands with a babe in arms.
Kate's sapphire-blue Issa dress captivated the world when she posed for engagement pics with William. We'd love it if she stepped out postbaby in the same style ($595).

And when plain pumps aren't fancy enough, this eyelet sandal ($475) from L.K.Bennett would be a smart choice for her jewel-toned dresses.
Kate's shown her love for Mulberry before, and we could imagine her in this prim and proper pleated dress ($1,600) for a family get-together at the palace.
To break up the dress parade, we could see her in this siren-red silk top ($950) from Mulberry.

While Kate doesn't often veer from classic styles and silhouettes, we could see the new mom experimenting with a splashy print like this Whistles option ($272).

A little black dress fit for a duchess? Tara Jarmon's black wool option ($430) is beyond sophisticated.
