For her arrival at the King's Cup charity sailing race in Cowes, England, Kate Middleton continued to embrace a more laid-back fashion aesthetic with a nautical-inspired outfit that included a Sandro Paris striped top and cropped navy trousers from L.K. Bennett. To complete the look, Kate accessorized with a pair of her favorite crisp-white Superga Cotu sneakers.

Perhaps inspired by sister-in-law Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Cambridge has begun wearing pants far more often, and we're totally on board with this new, more relaxed look. That said, Kate made sure to stick to the shapes she knows work, especially when it came to the silhouette of her knit top: a peplum hem is a bit of a Kate classic that we last saw when she sported an Oscar de la Renta skirt suit at the beginning of the year. On the other hand, cropped, wide-leg trousers seem to be a new go-to silhouette of hers. In the beginning of the Summer, Kate wore a khaki pair from Massimo Dutti for the opening of her garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, and it seems she's been hooked ever since.
