LA Made Makes me Happy

Ever since low rise jeans became all the rage a few years ago, women all over the globe have been wrestling with how to be fashionable yet be able to actually sit down without showing the world your "coin slot" (such term so affectionately "coined" on a Saturday Night Live episode earlier this year). Enter LA Made, a line of t-shirts and tanks that are made much longer than normal to help solve this problem. A lot of you may be thinking, too little too late, low rise jeans have been around for years! Well yes, I do agree, why didn't' they think of this earlier? But nonetheless, you should check out these shirts. They are amazing, not only are they super long, they are really soft and feel amazing on.

Here are some of my favorites from the line:

Long Racerback Tank, $26.00, Available here

Long Henley, $38.00, Available here

Long Tank, $13.90, Available here

EP, Lucky Brand jeans have a pair that are higher in the back and lower in the front!! I think the style is called 'lil Maggies. I have a pair, and they are my favorite. They're not expensive either.

EP, that is a great solution! i don't know why you're not a designer...

i know the feeling pamela. e_p, where are you miss long legs?? how do you feel about this style?
Pamela Pamela 11 years
atoxicsparkle, that's exactly what I was trying to say. You put it much better tho. Even with my 5'4 I can't pull it off. Not that I'm tall or anything lol.

while i adore these styles, i can only wear them when wearing heels. because of my wonderful genes inherited from my mother and father, i am 5 foot, so if i am wearing flats, flip flops, or my nikes, i look really weird, like i have this uber long torso and stubby legs, just odd :(

Am I weird for thinking these are not flattering? I always feel dwarfy when I'm wearing them. And yeah, you need to be super toned around the stomach area to pull it off, because they highlight every bump.
crazylady crazylady 11 years So what I'm saying about these shirts is that they're cute as long as you don't have a single bump down your sides. I shy away also because they remind me too much of the materity tops I had to wear for so long because of their length.

Muffin tops are when you have pudge that hangs over the sides of your waistband.

I'm assuming that's the pudgy little waistband hangover pooch.

Whats muffin tops?
crazylady crazylady 11 years
Cute but only if you don't have muffin-tops. Then it just looks wrong. I'm actually too tall to wear them. I look squatty in them which is hard to do

Sweet, Say no to crack LOL

Great glad this is catching on as they started to sell these types of tops in the UK at the beginning of this year and I am glad...hate the "coin slot" or as my boyfriend says when he see's mine..."say no to crack"

I love this look, i love wearing them too, not only the long tank make me look taller, it also makes me look slimmer, i can't get enough of the long tank.
yayita yayita 11 years
The long look is very appealing, it makes people look taller and keeps your crack nicely hidden. Im a big fan of this look an dlove t he options.
