>> L'Wren Scott Prepping Brand for Growth —Although she says it's too early to talk specifics, L'Wren Scott confirmed recently that she's positioning her brand, which focuses on dresses in the $1,500 to $3,000 range), for growth.  A website that will eventually include e-commerce is in the works (the label is currently sold at CoutureLab.com and Net-a-Porter) and she would also like to open stores — “bricks and mortar are very important in getting your vision across” — and expand into the contemporary market. There's also a project with Lancome being hammered out. Scott currently owns 100 percent of the label, but she says she would consider changing that should the right investor come along. [WWD]
