8 Things Fashion Girls Wear on Repeat and Always Get Compliments On

London Fashion Week: On The Sidelines

Just a quick note on the protestors here at London Fashion Week--they certainly were not what we were expecting. That is, in our experience, you are far more likely to see protestors (mostly women at these Fashion Week rallies) demanding the ban of fur but, in London, we walked up to the entrance of the Natural History Museum (our Bryant Park) to find a slew of women dancing to techno beats and holding up signs that demanded the ban of size zero models. The girls, dressed up in what we can only describe as that "slutty" + archetype formula we see in America on Halloween (i.e. Slutty Kitten, Slutty Minnie Mouse, Slutty Witch), were dancing and hollering in the most joyful of Fashion Week spirits. Their outfits might not have been the most stylish but we thought their good attitude deserved a mention. Our only complaint being the slogan itself: "ban size zero models" which we think is beside the point entirely. This whole thing is about acceptance, right?
