Lucky Mag Says Not to Be Afraid of Neon

Don't Be Afraid of . . . Neon

We're thrilled to present our favorite Lucky story here on Fab!

With the exception of my neon green Blackberry case, I generally tend to steer clear of super bright hues. Instead, I gravitate toward a softer, muted palette—one that I find more flattering against my blond, pale-ish coloring, and one that isn't so, well, LOUD. However, this season's penchant for brights (along with Jil Sanders' awesomely blinding SS2011 collection), has me currently dreaming in Technicolor. And while I'm not sure that I'll ever be brave enough to sport a shocking orange t-length paper bag skirt, I've found a few ways to incorporate neon in a slightly less intimidating sort of way.

Pleasure Doing Business neon green 5 Bandage Skirt, $88, revolveclothing.com; Narrow Leather belt (various colors), $18, urbanoutfitters.com

Silk Safari Shorts, $88, madewell.com; Mara Hoffman neon bikini, $78/$74, madewell.com
