Malin Akerman at 2010 Costume Institute Gala

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Malin Akerman

Malin Akerman goes black-and-white deco Temperley London for tonight's Gala. The look's part vamp, part vintage. Diamond ring, bracelets, and earrings are adornments, and a satin black clutch and loose blond waves complete the look.

But maybe bridge is right, and it's just that she can't pull it off.

No, the whole thing looks all over the place.

i love the dress. I don't love the band but more distractingly: This chick is NOT pulling off the look. There is no styling above the neck. Terrible hair, trashy makeup, and no presence overall. blah.

I adoreee this dress. I think it's edgy and fun and she really works it. I agree that i thought the black band was a necklace and wasn't so sure about it but at the end of the day the dress is fab.

I like this but that black band across her neck is really distracting. Am I the only one that is bothered by that?
