Michael Kors must have been feeling groovy while designing Spring 2014. With a mellow soundtrack — including Bette Midler and Fleetwood Mac — floaty printed tea dresses, belted cardigans, and slit maxi skirts wafted down the runway in a '40s-meets-'70s mashup that is utterly wearable down to the chunky platform sandals. There was a heavy emphasis on luxe vacation wear with '40s-style two-pieces and even a pair of denim shorts. We never say this after a show, but we couldn't feel more relaxed.
