The flowing, cream Tom Ford gown Michelle Obama chose for a state dinner at Buckingham Palace in London last night was one of her strongest outings yet. The designer, known more for his sexy glamour — let's not forget his '90s stint at Gucci — than dressing first ladies nonetheless provided an elegant dress with double-crossed straps across the bust and a ribbon tie. She accessorized with pendant earrings, a sparkly silver clutch, and white gloves. It was an impeccable outfit, although we think FLOTUS could have done away with the gloves — all the better to show off those toned arms.
