The Costume Institute Benefit is the industry's biggest night, and people from all corners of the fashion community got dressed up and climbed the steps of at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate its new exhibit, Punk: Chaos to Couture.
Hilary Rhoda, who cohosted Vogue.com's live stream of the event with William Norwich, was among the first people on the scene, wearing a custom dress from Wes Gordon. Anna Wintour was there early too in a custom floral dress by Chanel. She told Norwich she chose the dress because the exhibit's curator, Andrew Bolton, told her, "Pink is the color of punk."
