When it comes to big events, celebrities are crazy about the big styles of Zac Posen. The young designer counts Kate Bosworth, Mary-Kate, and other young actresses among his fans, and plenty of stars turned out to see his Thursday show at New York Fashion Week.

The Spring 2007 collection was a walking museum of evening wear, with models wearing everything from a 30s-inspired gold party dress to an emerald-green number reminiscent of early Hollywood glamour to a ruby-red gown with a bow so big it resembled a pair of wings. There were also minidresses with feather- and flower-strewn hems and minimal pieces in creamy vanilla tones. Some of the more radical looks didn't quite do it for me (see above mention of the giant red bow), but I give the guy points for variety. To see all of Fabsugar's Fashion Week coverage, click here.
