On Oct. 21, 2015 — the exact date Marty McFy travels to in the sequel film — Nike confirmed to Mashable [2] that the first pair of self-lacing sneakers were "in NYC." Say what?! Kicks that tie themselves?! It's about freakin' time!

Similar to the model Nike released back in 2011, the futuristic shoe will be available via auction, and all proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox [3] Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
