Online Sale Alert! Help Me Pick A Dress From Shopbop!

In a couple of weeks I will be going to a VIP preview of a Vivienne Westwood exhibit at the de Young museum in San Francisco. It's on a Saturday night and I'm going to get my makeup done at Sephora beforehand. Sounds like fun huh? But with fun comes the outfit dilemma. Because it's a Saturday night, and one of Britain's most daring designers, I want to wear something bold - but it is at a museum, so not too bold. I was perusing the awesome sale section at shopbop and found three candidate dresses. Help me choose the ONE!

Diane von Furstenberg Baby Jane Dress, on sale for $192.50 (originally $275).

Karen Zambos Vintage Couture Lindsay Dress, on sale for $284.90 (originally $407).

KAROO Mark Eisen Halter Dress, on sale for $176 (originally $352).

Please tell me your thoughts below. Thanks ladies!

anjuness - you're not the only one. I find the red hair model (the one in the middle here) so distracting I can't look at any of the clothes she wears.

Hands down the DVF dress! It's elegant & fun....LOVE IT.

i looooove the DVF! the shape is great, and i always like black and white (i think it's because i can't wear it because i'm so pale, so i'm jealous of what i don't have, haha!) the zambos kind of bores me, and while basic black is always great, i feel like for vivienne westwood it might be TOO basic

I love the first dress, but it seems a little too casual for the evening event. The black dress seems just perfect. It has such a gorgeous shape to it. And for $176 it's a steal!!! I'm not crazy about the red dress at all.

the KAROO most edgy, most modern, and it would look awesome worn with something brigt. Good luck :)

********** definitely the halter top. chic, classy, yet still a teensy bit edgy. i think it will look great with some cute heels (what about metallic silver?) and (simple) accesories. :D
get the DVF one i tried it on @ neimans and the bust part makes boobs look really good!

Dress 2. The color will stand out but the design is appropriate for a museum. It's a dress you can wear many more times. It's good casual or dressy. I think this style is more contemporary looking than the other two. This hem-length is more in style now.

I think I'm too late, but... I definitely vote Karen Zambos (dress #2). It has a sleek and modern shape, but with such a fun punch of color!! The DVF is nice, but it's a little cutsie for me, what with the flowers, the sweetheart neckline, AND the ruffle around the's the kind of dress you can only wear a few times...but the Zambos dress would look great with opaque tights -- and bare-legged when it gets warmer! The third dress is just a little vote is TOTALLY number 2!!

Thanks for all your input babes! As of right now, I'm debating b/w the DVF and the black one. I'm going to sleep on it - stay tuned! xo

The first one is absolutely gorgeous, with the third one coming in a close second. I like the pattern of the DVF one and it has a lovely shape!

the back on the second one is fab! i love the color. anjuness, i hate the shopbop models too - their facial expressions are the worst. but i like the redhead's recent haircut. i spend too much time on that site.

I like the 2nd one. It seems more conservative until you get to the back. I love the surprise of the back. Good Luck. P.S." Am I the only one who really HATES the models that SHOPBOP uses. I can't stand them they always have an air of superiority (for no reason) -- it annoys me so much.

I definitely prefer the Karen Zambos. It blends museum sophistication with fashion exhibit boldness. I love that it's demure from the front, but not from the back. And for my taste and lifestyle, it has the most re-wear value.

DVF or KAROO. Both are modern and chic. The second one is not at all daring, or even modern.
