Each and Every DIY Aficionado Needs to Know About Proenza Schouler's New Collection

Oct 21 2015 - 2:34pm

Just when you thought Proenza Schouler couldn't improve upon the perfection of its famous PS1 bags [1], designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez went and made the iconic purse customizable. The brand just launched a new line called PS Pins [2], a range of perforated leather bags just asking to be personalized. Much like Anya Hindmarch and her stickers [3], Jack and Lazaro are aiming this collection squarely at the buyer who wants a one-of-a-kind piece.

PS Pins, which is available online as of Oct. 21, includes a number of Proenza Schouler's bestselling bag shapes, including both the tiny and medium PS1. Its lunch bag, zip pouch, and bucket bag are also available in black, white, and a yellow color called sulphur. The leather pieces range in price from $375 to $1,885.

Any and all DIY [4] fans are going to want to take a close look at the actual number and letter pins, which retail for $75 each. They're made of brass and enamel, with a flat black screw on the back. In its product images, the brand suggested trying out "PS1" in honor of its iconic bag — or, ya know, for POPSUGAR. It's up to you.
