Just as we say goodbye to one celebrity brand [1], another one begins to grow. Reese Witherspoon [2]'s clothing line, Draper James [3], has officially opened its very first flagship store down in Nashville.
Filled with polished pieces from the line, striped walls, and cozy-cute decor, the brand-new brick and mortar is just so . . . Reese. But that shouldn't be too surprising: the interior designer behind the Southern-home-inspired layout, Mark Sikes, is also working on the star's private home. "There's a lot of shared references" between the two, CEO of Draper James Andrea Hyde told WWD [4].
Since we probably won't be invited to go shopping with Reese or chill at her house drinking coffee, this has to be the next best thing — scroll through to get the full store experience.
Reese Witherspoon [5] looked pretty and polished at the store's official opening.
Lily Aldridge was in attendance in a long denim skirt by Baldwin.
Faith Hill [6] and Sheryl Crow [7] also stopped by to show some support.
As did Reba McEntire, who wore a long scarf and fringe boots, and singer Kacey Musgraves in a floral shirt.
Reese also invited local bloggers to check out the store. Obviously they dressed to impress!
One skirt, two ways!
The star was clearly very excited about the flagship.
This is the first of many: Draper James plans to open one to two stores a year for the next five years.
The store also values Southern hospitality. Sales associates will offer customers glasses of sweet tea and proffer cupcakes.
