Reese Witherspoon [1] is nothing if not consistent [2] when it comes to her outfit choices. So we can't say we were surprised to see her sporting a flouncy Summer dress two days in a row. But here's the other thing about the star's signature sense of style — it's never boring. In fact, we garner inspiration from her Cali-girl looks [3] all the time. Needless to say, today is no different.
Reese stepped out in two flirty, floral designs — one a bit shorter than the other — but both totally covetable. She finished with her staple accessories, including chunky necklaces, dark sunglasses, an eye-catching bag [4], and ankle-strap sandals [5]. But she threw a black cardigan over her French Connection number and went the sleeveless route in her blue-and-white mini. That gave us a very valuable shopping idea.
Why not invest in a few dresses we can wear now without any extra layers and later with complementing sweaters? To us, that seems like a fail-safe plan that will allow us to get a little extra mileage out of our Summer frocks.
