Robert Pattinson [2] is loved by the fashion world, as his contract with Dior [3] and cameo at the 2015 Met Gala [4] have confirmed. Now, Robert's taking the relationship one step further: he's started designing clothes himself.

In a new interview in Numéro Homme [5]'s Spring/Summer 2016 issue, which is on sale now, Robert hinted that he's going to move from model to a more behind-the-scenes role. Speaking of his work with Dior, Robert said, "Our collaboration is even extending to clothes starting this year."

But there's more to Robert's love of fashion. "I've started making clothes," he said in the interview with journalist Jean-Baptiste Mondino. "For the last two years, I've been visiting producers and craftsmen. There's already quite a few pieces. I love doing it. My style is influenced by the cities I go to, sourcing fabrics and local skills. In Los Angeles, it's really easy to work with denim and do workwear inspired clothes. In England I look more towards wool and knitwear. What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends."

"But," he added, "I'm not going into too much detail, I don't want to jinx anything."
