Celebrity-favorite jeweler Roxanne Assoulin launched her brand back in 2016. Rooted in optimism, the label took off immediately, alongside the fast rise in popularity of her Rainbow Brite chokers and bracelets — perfect for the then-emerging "stacking" trend.

Celebrity devotees soon followed, including Gigi Hadid who once threw a Roxanne Assoulin jewelry party where everyone was invited to design their own trinkets. In addition to Hadid, Assoulin cites Hailey Bieber, Jennifer Lawrence, and Carey Mulligan as her celebrity fashion muses, each styling jewelry in a unique, understated way. "I think the personalization of jewelry is really what makes it interesting," she tells POPSUGAR. "Because jeans are jeans, sweaters are sweaters, and shirts are shirts. But with jewelry, it's really about the way you put it together, and no two people will do it the same way."

Though Assoulin is already enjoying the success most designers only dream of, she still has a few career goals she'd like to accomplish. She would love to collaborate with an iconic luxury brand like Tiffany & Co. to offer a design-your-own collection where customers can choose either blingy or semiprecious looks, for instance.

In the meantime, however, she's introducing more blingy pieces of her own: bangles and ring stacks to celebrate Valentine's Day.

POPSUGAR: Do you have any favorite moments of celebrities wearing your jewelry?
Roxanne Assoulin: My favorite moment was when Gigi Hadid came to do a jewelry party for a friend's birthday. It was an epic moment for us. Even her boyfriend at the time, Zayn, was wearing our jewelry at one point.

PS: What are some other brands that offer great stacking or layering pieces?
RA: I have a Jennifer Fisher link bracelet that I always wear, along with a couple of watches, one of which is my gold Rolex. I like to do a gold bangle, vintage chain, or little pearl strand mixed in with fashion jewelry. I don't think it needs to be precious, or that you want to wear too many things at once on your wrist.

PS: What piece from your collection do you wear most often?
RA: My most worn piece that I could wear every day is the Line necklace in red. I never take it off. I wear a little gold chain, then the little red necklace. I'm also always wearing a bracelet, even though I always change those around.

PS: What's one piece of jewelry everyone should have customized?
RA: I have bracelets with each of my grandkids' names, and whenever I go see one of them, I wear the one with their name. A lot of people put their pet's name, zip code, telephone number, or the date they got engaged. Of course, you can also customize with color, getting creative and choosing a set in a color combination that we don't already have.

PS: What are the best selling pieces on your site right now?
RA: Our Rainbow Brite bracelets and chokers are the first thing I ever launched, and they are still a best seller, but our crystal earrings do well, too. So we're actually launching a whole new line of paste-looking earrings. The tennis necklaces also sell like crazy.

PS: What's a piece of romantic jewelry to gift on Valentine's Day, besides an engagement ring?
RA: We do little heart sets that I love in both bracelets and rings. Then we also have tie-ons that say "Mad Love," "I Love You," and "Ride or Die." I think the little things are really the big things, and that people appreciate a gift's thoughtfulness most often.
