We at Coutorture love vintage and have even included it in our photo editorials thanks to our stylist and fellow blogger Liz Baca of Gotta Get The Goods. Thus we feel it is our duty to point New York readers in the right direction this weekend for the Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show. On October 10th and 11th at the Metropolitan Building on 125 West 18th Street some of the best vintage dealers around the world will convene.

But if you can't make it to New York we have a few bloggers in our community that are specifically vintage focused from Debutante Clothing and Zuburbia to actual vintage retailer Shrimpton Couture. We are in love with Shrimpton Couture's 1930s Flocked Pink Organza Dress. The pale pink semi sheer frock from the thirties is utterly charming and feminine. With sheers, pale hues, and feminine detailing being all the rage for Spring 2009 you can rest easy knowing you have appeased the gods of current fashion while picking up a unique find that is from a completely different season!
