Simply Fab: BraBaby

Brassieres are getting more and more pricey these days and the last thing you want is to have yours ruined by none other than the washing machine! For $20, a BraBaby is an inexpensive way to protect your bras and other intimate apparel from tearing in the laundry. And, it's dryer safe!

It may look complicated in the pictures, but with three simple steps, you can practically do it with your eyes closed. Okay, maybe not...but you know what I mean!

DRYER SAFE??? Girls -- never EVER put your bras in the dryer! It is the HEAT, not the tumbling that will ruin the elastic in a bra.

Better idea: wash the bra in a old pillow case. Put it in, tie a knot at the top and save money.

I bet it works like a charm. What a great idea. I still think people will hand wash undergarments though. Especially since youd have to wash one bra at a time, or splurge on a few of these things for $20 each. For that reason it is a bit inconvenient.

I have a similar bra casing/bag for laundry purposes. I usually machine wash my regular bras... only those expensive ones i hand wash. I am lazy that way.

Red4ev: Thanks for the tip about Bed Bath and Beyond. I've been wanting an alternative to hand washing my bras. BTW, I am a big fan of Calvin Klein bras. Much better and more comfy than Vicky's Secret bras.

yeah, i agree with a bunch of other peeps. i just use a mesh bag, or if you need to hand wash, it's very easy to get a big glass jar, water, detergent, and stick your bra in and shake it. it cleans it very well, and it's simple.

i actually really like this idea. i hate washing my bras because they lose their shape and newness, which is the best part in my opinion.

what if you need to wash like 5 bras? are you going to get 5 brababy's. the best way to go for washing bras is the mesh bags, the fit like 5 bras and it'll probably take up less space in your washing machine.

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!! The website said it's dryer safe! NEVER put your bra (or any lingerie) in the dryer! It will make the elastic dry and brittle and there goes the life of your bra. :/ Oh, and anony, if you really do want to try one and are afraid it would float, sandwich it between some clothes. :) So, do they think you only have one friggin' bra? I, for one, have at least four. I'm not going to buy four of those things.

I usually wash my bras in a special lingerie bag, but the BraBaby would definitely do a better job at keeping the shape of the bra.

i read reviews on this product online and most people don't recommend it. some of them said it broke the first time they put it in the washer. and also, it just floats around on top of the washer, so it doesn't even clean your bra well. i don't think i'm gonna order one. i'll look for some other products that will protect your lingerie.
