Simply Fab: Twinkle Living Knitted Hanger

Twinkle by Wenlan creator Wenlan Chia knows where her strength lies. She first got attention going to class in her chunky knit sweaters, and now her knits are everywhere: on the backs of Kate Hudson and Maggie Gyllenhaal, in books, and even keeping clothes hangers warm.

I'm kind of obsessed with Wenlan's hand-knitted Twinkle Knitted Hangers, $55, because don't your chic clothes deserve chic things to hang from? I think so.

And I would need at least 100 of them for all my clothes, so what would that be? About $5500? LOL! No thanks!

totally throwback to the 70's. this idea is not original, and not worth $55! geez, i'd be ashamed to come home and say "look honey, i spent $55 on a hanger!"

Too cute! But I don't believe I'll be paying $55 for a hanger anytime soon.

These are adorable, but yes - one could easy make something like this - that's basically a very easily knit tube with a wider midsection. I'm not even all that crafty. I'd have to learn how to increase stitches, or some such trick to do it, but might be fun to try. I do like the idea of not having stuff slip off of my hangers.

Adorable! But I bet they'd be pretty simple to make and wouldn't cost $55...
