I buy a lot of designer stuff, but I am anti-blatant logos. No shirts that have a giant A|X, no brown LV bags (although I do have a few from the more discreet and shiny monogram vernis collection). Which is why my fav brand is Prada!! Love the Prada-- for the most part very discreet (except for the recent seasons of huge disgusting logo bags). Limited logo is cute, like some Juicy Couture, but I'm not paying big bucks to be your advertisement!

wow such a heated debate ! I think the main reason (although correct me if i'm wrong) that people are so anti-logo right now is because it has been butchered by the wrong kinds of people. For example: scenario 1: you see a girl waiting for the bus wearing a big gucci or LV logo bag, light skintight jeans with no pockets on the butt, some dirty white sneakers, big chanel glasses, and a ratty hoody. scenario 2: you see a cute girl shopping with lovely style, perhaps a little jumper, vintage jewelry, some chic flats, and a classic lv or gucci logo bag. Now doesn't that make all the difference in the world ?!?! I have both, some logo and some non-logo but my general rule has been, if i'm purchasing a logo item I get something that you can tell has quality and has NOT been ripped off. (I have a gucci print pelham bag that is the embossed leather print as opposed to the fabric, also more subtle, but I do also have an lv) Sigh, sorry for the rant, for me it's all relative ;)

No, no, no logos! I prefer them to be as discreet as possible if they are on clothing or accessories.

If it's cute, I'll buy it. Logo or not.

iono...thats hard...if ppl dint butcher lv i wouldntve minded it, but because i saw it everywhere i started to not love it anymore (it got WORST when i started seeing the multicolore on black). gucci i see everyday, but nowhere near as much as lv, and i like the color schemes a lot for gucci because its very neutral (lv is too bold? it stands out too strongly)...i dont mind the lv demier. fendi i just dont like. it demends, but as a general rule, it looks better when its in neutral, subtle colors as opposed to bold, super-dark colors.

Well. I have an authentic LV large bucket bag and use it to carry my school stuff. Its convenient and large and I could honestly care less about people "ooing" and "awwing" at my accessories. My one requirement is that it has to be authentic. I do not support child labor in developing countries.

i think that classic logo bags are nice. i worked very hard to buy my Speedy but clothing covered in logos is awful. ive always hated the j'adore dior tshirts that were big a couple years ago. it screams new money

It depends on the brand and of course the size of the logo. If it's small and cute then well and good

i could go either way... i'm over LV bags, maybe because i have one.. but i would still like to get a gucci logo bag or shoes and fendi is still my favorite :)

One thing I deff hate...the way everything at Old Navy has "Old Navy" on it. Um, hello? I'm paying to advertise for you?

Simple and understated logos or accents that a brand is known for is fine by me. But I usually don't like logos over everything. Ditto for tees with words. Oh and that suit is pretty!

either way...i have a really great little red coach purse with a C pattern thats adorable, but some of them are so in your face that it gives you a headache.

Hate logos. I avoid anything with them on there.

Logos are so obnoxious. They are the most annoying and overrated fashion statement ever.

I hate the logos. I feel like I'm paying a company so that I can be their walking billboard.

#11: Exactly the same with me! My mother is Japanese, but she's not a brand-hound like the rest of them. I got my appreciation for timeless pieces from her. Mom also recognizes the quality that comes with a beautiful bag from an established designer. As long as it's not tacky, she's willing to have a little logo going on, and so am I...Does anyone agree with me that it's hardly a status symbol anymore, jut because so many people turn their noses up at logos? It doesn't make sense to actually be proud of a bunch of logos anymore...=)

sorry, i like the logos. don't know why, but it appeals to me. chanel double c's, gucci g's, dolce and gabbana dg's, louis vuitton lv's...i guess it's a sort of status symbol? and no, that's not why i like it.

LV and Coach logo ANYTHING makes me want to puke. For some reason though, I still love the Chanel C's.

Generally speaking, NO LOGO.

I think if they are over done it is too much. One or two logos will do for me. Otherwise your are screaming for attention!
