Splurge.

It depends on the situation really although I chose splurge. I've learned the hard way that not buying things you really like can cause you sleepless nights and not being able to not think about it, and suddenly when you decide to buy it, it's no longer there! Sob!

Save until you have enough money to splurge... I know, I'm boring!

Depends on the item so I said Splurge. If it's something generic I say save.

Ditto on what yeeun said, splurge all the way!!! I mean I never spend money I don't have - in that case the matter is rather easily decided. However it has happened before that I had to mostly give up food for a few weeks because I discovered a fabulous pair of shoes. I have reurned a couple of impulse buys before (though it doesnt tend to happen) if I reconsider or think I can find something similar for less, so no harm done.

I kind of do both, but mostly I will save up for the more expensive things.

I'm a newly-converted saver, because I won't be in my 20s forever. Young & broke is acceptable, but old and broke=not cute. If you love it AND can afford it, but all means buy it, but don't mortagage your future for some shizz that you probably won't even like in a month.

I'm not a saver. I'm a splurger.

If I see something I have to have, I don't wait, but I would LOVE to always splurge w/o the care of the bill next month!

some of my best stuff comes from when i close my eyes, take out the credit card and rip up the reciept. :)

i voted save, when something doesnt have a crazy price tag, i dont think twice about buying it, but when its pricey i do a lot of research and consideration before purchasing.... :)

Well I am only starting to save now, don't have a choice. Splurged a lot in the past and I am afraid I am paying HEAVILY for it now :-(

it depends on the item. if the question was to splurge on that silver luggage in the picture, i'd choose save, save, save.

I voted splurge, cause money is for spending it, and do I love spending it! But it's not like I waste it on whatever I see. It's good to save a bit too to be able to afford something exceptional now and again. It's cool to have loads of tops, but nothing can replace well-fitting jeans, that can cost quite a bit but makes you look really good.

I usually try and save my money where I can, but things liek Christmas Party dresses or a pair of really nice work pants, I will slurge on. They are better quality and last longer, and in my opinion, you are saving then too anyways ;)

It depends on what it is. I splurge on classic pieces and save on trendier items.
