Style For Style: See Ya, Slippery Hangers

There's that one dress that always ends up on the closet floor. It's slippery, it's silky — oh, look! It's covered in dust bunnies. Sometimes regular plastic hangers don't do the trick. Sometimes, for those special items, you need to nurture. These Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers ($14-$55) are not only velvet-flocked — providing the necessary tread to prevent slippage — they also come in fun, bright colors. These hot pink ones are for the ultimate girlie girl; Fab will take the bright purple ones. See ya!

My mother went on a Huggable Hanger Craze and bought a set of 50 for everyone in the house. They are perfect.

My boss gave me a few to try since my closet is completely packed. However, I cannot get over the velvet. It is so hard to put my shirts on the hangers, they don't slide over velvet with ease.

My Mom bought me a bunch of these. Love them! They do have them at Target in other colors and at Bed Bath & Beyond. Best part: They don't take up much space, which allows you to fit like double the clothes in your closet. No joke.

These are great, but I've heard the velvet transfers to your clothing.

They also have these at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and I think they're a little cheaper---50 hangers for $40 (they come in smaller packs as well). They don't have them in bright colors but they do have them in tan, black, green and blue.

I have these in sage green. They work beautifully - and since they are so thin, you can fit even more into your closet, which I am sure is a big plus for many ladies out there ;)
